I am impressed with the overall quality of the bag. It has plenty of room for a laptop and clothing for an overnight. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the included laptop sleeve. I was a little hesitant because of the issues several people mentioned regarding the zippers but I have found them to be quite durable. The handle works smoothly as do the wheels.

I wanted to try using something other than my laptop's massive back pack which carries everything + laptop - ease of flying & shorter duration trips.

I picked this roller bag to fly from coast to coast. This bag takes up space while still on the small side - looks like luggage that airline staff want to freely toss into cargo, so heads up if flying domestic and remind them at the gate what is contained.

Space on the front pockets seem a little tight and less functional as does the main space for personal items.

The laptop section is well padded and protected. I can not comment on the durability until I have traveled many more times but the overall feel is a bit weak for the cost outlay. My 17 " Laptop should be safe but as far as luggage well . . . loose and floppy is the feel I get from this item. I do suggest this if you want the roller bag / smaller size & perhaps less items what than a typical geek will pack when going overseas with his laptop iPad, iPod, speakers, cables galore )for 6 months at a time.

I have had this bag for almost six months. I was able to pass my computer through in the bag at the Portland, Oregon airport and the Salt Lake City airport with no problem. I also passed it through security at the Multnomah County Courthouse. The bag is roomy, with plenty of room in the main compartment for 3" ring binder and a couple of books. I love the little pocket for the computer cord. The front zipper pocket holds my board pass. All in all, it's a very convenient, well organized bag! You would not want to pack it heavy and then walk very far, because there is not waist or hip belt. It works find for the kind of walking I do in the airport and a few blocks in town from the bus stop or parking lot to wherever I'm going.
